The 2008 Queensland State Titles were held June 13-15 over just one round this year. Previous years has seen a Sunshine Coast round, plus a Gold Coast event with points from both deciding results.

Sponsored by Bradnams Doors and Windows, the venue was Laceys Lane, the inside section of Currumbin’s Alley.

The Open division winner was Josh Contable, with Jackson Close runner-up. In the Womens, Selby Riddle took it out, while the Junior Mens vistor was Clint Guest.

With places in the State Team for the National Titles up for grabs, other division winners were – Over 60 Men: Neville Smith; Over 55 Men: Warren Walker; Over 50 Men: Paul Newman; Over 45 Men: Michael Corcoran; Over 40 Men: Brad Sultmann; Over 35 Men: Damian Coulter; Over 35 Women: Sharon Jackson; 18 Girls: Georgie Roach.
